Hello, My name is Devin Ozmon.
I am an artist that primarily focuses on painting and drawing, although I do work with clay as well when I have access to it.
It is difficult to paint or draw a subject exactly how the eye perceives it. To depict a feeling or emotion accurately is challenging in a completely different way. That is what I am attempting to do in my recent work. My paintings are typically completely disconnected from each other. I don’t limit myself to themes or a “style” at this point in my artistic journey, as I find it limits my creativity. I allow each piece to be what it wishes to. If the energy and emotion that comes from the work matches the feeling i was set to generate, then I am happy. This is the magic of art.
